Our history dates back to 1954, when the German Hoechst AG established its Turkish subsidiary as one of the first foreign investments in our country. The company started its local manufacturing activities in 1956 in rented apartment facilities in downtown Istanbul. Land was acquired in 1965 in the present site Topkapı with the construction of pharmaceutical/chemical plant in the following year. Remodelling of the facilities was conducted between 1988 and 2000, bringing the site in line with current good manufacturing standards, ready for the 21st century. read more..

Pharmaceutical Technology Europe and Pharmaceutical Executive Europe (online), leading trade journal publications of the pharmaceutical industry have published a section on Turkey in their October 2008 edition.

Results of our "Occupational Health and Safety Contest"

On the occasion of the Occupational Health and Safety Week (between May 04th and 10th), an internal contest titled "PharmaVision Occupational Health and Safety Motto" was organized.

124 associates joined this contest with 313 entries and regarding the evaluation of the Jury, the winners are listed below:

Winning motto by Harun Dikici: "Take precautions first, exaggerate a little bit but never relinquish"

Second place motto by İrfan Koçak: "Attention! There is safe work in here."

Third place motto by Fatih Yılmaz: "Take occupational health and safety seriously and enjoy a lifetime with your beloved ones."

Best Practice - Non-Smoking Workplace

In scope of the Occupational Health and Safety Week (between May 04th and 10th) organized by the Turkish Ministry of Labour and Social Security, our company was chosen as a Best Practice case for non-smoking workplace in the large companies' category.

The award certificates are given by Mr.Faruk Çelik (the Turkish Labour and Social Security Minister) to Best Practice companies in a ceremony held on May 07th, 2008 as part of the agenda.

Our calibration laboratory was audited by the Turkish Standards Institution on April 10th, 2008 according to TSE 17025 requirements for the reliability of the tests conducted. Following a successful audit, our company is awarded the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 Laboratory Certificate on April 17th, 2008.
