A well qualified team of engineers and technicians makes sure that an extensive equipment
park of machines, instruments and infrastructure systems are kept properly maintained in
a qualified status. Choice and upkeeping of manufacturing equipment, affecting necessary
repair and maintenance work as well as safety and environmental issues are among other
activities of the Engineering Department. The Department's HVAC and maintenance system
has been cited as a Best Practice, among other places, in an audit finding of a
multinational customer.
