Support to the Düzce Çevrem Primary School
Within the scope of the Project “Investment from Waste to the Future” that has started with the purpose of raising environmental awareness in the society, an earthquake-resistant primary school made of steel construction, with 9 classrooms and 1.550 m2 closed area was built in Duzce, an earthquake region, via a fund raised through the recovery of recyclable waste from our manufacturing facility. Local employees as well as Hoechst Marion Roussel (parent company at the time) employees from abroad contributed to this fund and the school was granted to the Ministry of National Education in 2001.
In the following years, successful students were supported with scholarships and a Science Laboratory (2002), a Computer Laboratory (2004) as well as Volleyball and Basketball Courts (2004) were built at the school. Afterwards, exterior paint, roofing work and general maintenance of the school building were performed and in 2021, the renovation of the doors and windows in the school was supported. As PharmaVision, we will continue to support education and especially Düzce Çevrem School, with the contributions of our employees.
