OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System CertificateIn line with our company’s principles and policies regarding our continuous improvement approach, and because of our respect for society and the environment, our Technical Safety Department was established in 1986 in order to protect the health of our employees and to maintain a safe working environment. In order to monitor, audit and sustainably improve these practices, taking regulations as a bare minimum requirement, a management system was formed, and our department received BS 8800 Safety Certification and OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety Compliance Certification in 1999 and 2000 respectively. By conducting risk assessments and by acting proactively, we strive to eliminate all negative working conditions, and to continually improve our occupational health and safety management system in order to provide our employees with a comfortable and secure working environment. We strive to minimize the loss of workforce and working days resulting from accidents at work and also from occupational diseases ,as well as to avoid the risk of fire and explosion which threaten the very existence of our institution. Following the revision of the TS 18001: 2014 Standard to the high level structure (HLS) format and the publication of the TS ISO 45001 Standard, as of 2021, our Occupational Health and Safety Management System practices are carried out within the scope of the TS ISO 45001 Standard.

Since the environment and occupational health and safety, are an integral part of our activities, and for many years our TEÇES (Technical Safety, Environment, Health) Team headed these activities, the Technical Safety and Environment departments were combined to form the”Responsible Care® Directorate”
