Water Efficiency Policy

Our company, which has determined its policies and targets regarding the protection and sustainable use of our water resources has started to systematize these studies and carry them out with a management system approach.

OUR WATER EFFICIENCY POLICY

 Within the framework of our Responsible Care® Commitment and Environmental Management System practices, based on our principles of “People First” and “Respect for Nature”, protecting our water resources and using water consciously and efficiently are among our first priorities so that future generations can also access water, the fundamental source of life, in a healthy way. We actively engage with our employees to ensure sustainable water management.

• Prioritizing environmentally friendly technologies in our production processes, evaluate the risks and opportunities related to water efficiency while developing process improvements and preparing new projects and considering the impact of climate change on our water resources,
• Improving our performance in line with our Water Efficiency Plan and water efficiency goals,
• Keeping our current situation analysis constantly updated with effective monitoring and measurement systems,
• Informing all our stakeholders about our water efficiency efforts, contribute to the improvement of public awareness by cooperating with universities and non-governmental organizations within the scope of corporate social responsibility,
• Carrying out training and awareness-raising activities to increase the water efficiency awareness of our employees,
• Ensuring that our material and service supply processes align with our water efficiency goals, in line with our sustainable procurement approach,
• Regularly reviewing our Water Efficiency Policy, share it with relevant parties, allocate the necessary resources within the scope of water efficiency management and continuously improve our water management by accepting legal regulations as the minimum requirement and taking into account the needs and expectations of relevant parties and other requirements including voluntary commitments.
